Dear Friend in Christ,

With great joy I introduce you to the EFP family! Using people like you as His hands and feet, the LORD is blessing His children through our sponsorship program.
Honduras is one of the poorest nations in the Western Hemisphere. With more than 50 percent of the population living below the poverty line, many families struggle for food, clothing, and shelter. The circumstances these girls were born into haven’t given them a fair chance to be educated, cared for, and, more importantly, shown the love of Jesus. That’s why Eternal Family Project was started; to provide, a caring family to girls who have been abused, abandoned and neglected. Our mission is to pull them out of the despair they once lived in and provide the education and life tools necessary for each girl to live to their full potential as a Child of God. Sponsorship equips us at EFP to help each girl walk away from hopelessness and into the open arms of Jesus. In this way, we break the cycle of poverty together.

Each girl at EFP has their own struggles and pains of abandonment and loneliness. Knowing that only Jesus has the ability to heal them, we rest in the assurance that His love and compassion reaches far beyond what we can do in our finite strength. We ask that you pray for these girls daily, asking for healing of deep wounds and the miraculous love of the Father to transform her life and ask how consider how you can be involved.

The simplest way to give, is by online donation either by giving a one time donation or setting up a monthly sponsorship to be deducted from your credit/debit card or checking account. To do this simply click the button for the amount that you would like to give provided on the page of the girl you want to sponsor.

You can, also, give by sending a check. If you would like to do this, click here to send us an email including your name and address and let us know whom you would like to sponsor and we will send you a sponsorship package promptly. Please make checks payable to Eternal Family Project and mail to:

Eternal Family Project – Sponsorship
8615 Hixson Pike Ste B
Hixson, TN 37343

Be sure to specify the girl you are sponsoring in the memo line of the check.

When you begin sponsorship, you will receive a package in the mail with an 5.5 x 8.5in card with your girls picture and information about her on it. These cards are great to be displayed in a frame, on the fridge or your office desk. You will, also, receive updates throughout the year about how your girl is doing.

How Sponsorship Works

You may wonder why EFP encourages more than one person to sponsor the same girl when other sponsorship programs have one donor per child for him/her to be considered fully sponsored. For the most part, the kids in those programs already have families that they live with, so the sponsorship provides things like education, school lunches, lessons in hygiene, and the presentation of the Gospel in their language.

At Eternal Family Project it’s different. Each girl becomes an EFP daughter, with a mom who loves them as her own. An EFP daughter receives immediate medical care, dental care and balanced nutrition, and gets a better education than most will ever receive in Honduras. Most people will never be able to understand the difference between life in an orphanage compared to a home and family like EFP. Many of these girls were given or taken away, due to abuse and neglect, to live in an institution to be lost and forgotten, and were never shown the love and care that each child of God deserves. No matter how good certain orphanages may be, they cannot offer the same love and relationship that God intended for each of us to experience. Each girl at EFP will never have to know what it’s like to be forgotten again. They now have an eternal family to be a part of forever.

You, as a sponsor, are a part of our family, too. We encourage you to welcome each girl into your thoughts and prayers and to send them letters, cards, pictures, gifts and love. You can even come to Honduras to meet and play with them and be a direct part of their lives. That is what sponsorship with EFP does. It doesn’t just provide a means for education and food, but a life these daughters would never know otherwise. Each girl can now be shown the incredible love of Jesus through the provision of a real family with sisters, sponsors, and a loving mommy.

Above all things, EFP is a family, and we combine each individual donation for a sponsored girl to create a family fund. In this way we can ensure each and every girl is taken care of, despite possibly not having as many personal sponsors as another. It wouldn’t make sense to keep each girls’ sponsorship money separate; like any other family, each daughter gets the same everything. It costs roughly $300/month for each girl to receive food, clothing, shelter, and an education at the best bilingual school available.

When you become a sponsor, you’ll receive an information packet, which includes a 5.5 x 8.5 inch bio card a photo of your girl and information about who she is. These are great for framing or displaying next to your friends and family on your refrigerator.

Occasionally we will send updates on your girl with letters or pictures from them.

If you cannot commit to a monthly sponsorship, you can still make a one time donation of any amount to help pay for the needs of the girls. Just go to any of the girls pages and use the sponsor today button or make a general donation from the home page.

May God bless you for your faithfulness.

Hola! My name is Sarai. I am very independent and quite content to play by myself; I like to do things my own way. I used to live with my biological family, but that environment was very unsafe, and I was taken to the public orphanage. I lived at the orphanage until my new mommy brought me home to Eternal Family Project two years ago and [..]

Hello! I’m Vanessa. I am the quiet, gentle-spirited sister at Eternal Family Project. I spent my entire child and teen-hood living with my sister at an orphanage, but by the grace of God I was given the opportunity by EFP two years ago to continue my education. I am now focusing on finishing university and working so that I may get my sister out of the orphanage, and as of August 2009 I have finished my first year [..]

Hola! I’m Aracely. I love to make my family at EFP laugh with my funny faces, original jokes and crazy antics. I wasn’t always this way; just two and a half years ago I was so sick that I could hardly breathe, and my tummy was so swollen that I could barely fit into clothes. Then, my new eternal family took me home and gave me the love and care I needed. As a result, I am the bright-eyed [..]

Hi! I’m Mariela, and I am the teenager of the family at EFP. I joined Eternal Family Project when I was 11 after living at the public orphanage in San Pedro Sula for three-and-a-half years. Since coming here I have really been able to come out of my shell and be more of a kid; my EFP mom, Allison, would say I’m a bit of an introvert. I now enjoy meeting new people and making new friends, and am actually quite adventurous. [..]

Hola! My name is Michelle. As you can see from my picture, I am a beautiful, bright-eyed little girl. Recently, I’ve discovered that I love to talk, and I never fail to get attention with my loud but cute cartoon-character voice. As for favorites, I absolutely love the colors yellow and pink. I like to wear skirts, do arts and crafts, and bake yummy things to eat; if [..]

Hi! My name is Rubenia–Ruby, for short. As you can see, I have blond hair and a LOT of freckles. I celebrated my 11th birthday on November 18th, 2009, just one month after I came to be a part of the EFP family. I don’t speak very much English…You see, I lived on the streets before Allison, my new mommy, took me in. When I was 3 [..]

Hola! I’m Elvira, and I have been part of the Eternal Family Project for four years. Before I was given the opportunity for a life out of poverty, I lived in an orphanage beginning at age 6. I was really excited to join the family at EFP, and have worked hard to continue my education. As a result of my determination, I have become the only person in my family to graduate high school. Because I love working with kids [..]

Hi! My name is Jenci, I am the baby of the bunch at Eternal Family Project, but I know I can do everything the big girls can do. Mommy says I’m really stubborn, but that it’s hard to stay mad at me when I flash my disarming smile and giggle. She also thinks I’m very compassionate because whenever I see someone who is sad or crying, I give them a hug and a kiss. I can’t wait to go to the bilingual school [..]

Hi! I’m Ruth. I am one of the original young women who came to Eternal Family Project when the ministry began 5 years ago. I was in and out of orphanages from the age of 5, but in 2004 I was asked to join EFP. At EFP I found the opportunity to finish my education, and while working for my high school diploma I also completed a 2 year Cosmetology program. I graduated high school in November 2008, and I attend general [..]

Hello! I’m Gaby and I am the feisty, freckle-faced sister of the bunch at Eternal Family Project. I’m unable to walk, but that doesn’t hold me back from doing everything my other sisters do. Mommy says I am very athletic, and thinks if I was given the opportunity, I could definitely make it to the Olympics someday. I think that would be awesome! I love to play baseball and I could swim all day; in fact, if I [..]

Hola! I’m Yuri (pronounced Judy) and I am one of the original girls to join Eternal Family Project 5 years ago. As an infant I was brought to an orphanage where I lived until 2004. The orphanage could not suppress my outgoing personality, and I bring a lot of fun to EFP. Coming here gave me the opportunity to finish high school, and in 2007 I graduated as the Valedictorian of my class. With my academic and athletic [..]

Hola! I’m Paola and I am the older sister to Michelle and Sarai, but I also have 10 other adopted sisters. When I lived with my biological family I had very little to eat and was not treated very nicely. I was taken to a public orphanage where I lived until my new mommy came and took me and my sisters home two years ago. My sisters and I stayed close together, and it took me two weeks to get used to the yummy food [..]
