The girls and I were blessed with a visit from my older sister Angela.

Her first day here we brought some arts and crafts to the preschool.

We picked up Elvira and Sarai after their classes at the university for a visit to the public orphanage.

Angela treated the girls to the arcade at the San Pedro mall.

Aracely challanged Yuri to a match of “Dance Dance Revolution”…

Come back soon Angela!

Or we’ll be mad!!

Sunday we celebrated, as we should do every day, the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Any day to be reminded of what He did for us on that cross and how he rose from the dead to show He is God, is a beautiful day.

The older girls, all but Sarai, went for a field day with the church to Heart 2 Heart Orphanage. There was a large mission team from Washington State staying the week with the children there. There were games, music and an Easter egg hunt for over 100 people!

Sarai and I stayed behind with the smaller girls and had activities of our own. Here are some photos of the fun…

This was the first time to dye eggs for the girls.

Jenci was content with just one egg.

Sarai tries to reach an Easter egg…

But, she couldn’t.

Paola had the same problem…

Sarai offered her help…

Denia was the queen of the hunt.

There was one casualty though…

The girls didn’t take it so well.

They had a moment of silence for the dead colored chicken embryo. ;)

Jesus Lives!!

Mariela was baptized (not in the baby pool) Sunday afternoon after church!! Everyone from church packed a lunch and headed to a local river. There were three others who were also baptized! All my older girls wanted to go, so I stayed back with the six little munchkins on Denia duty (she’s doing much better, by the way). We are all very proud of Mariela and are excited to watch her grow in Christ!

“…for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” ~ Galatians 3:27
